Home is supposed to be a place of security, the last resort of refuge. In most cases it is, but not always this is where the fight must be won. A child that has been abused by his family will have a tough time in life. The same abuse happens with adults too.

When a person has been abused by their family they can have a hard time in life and feel helpless. They don't know where they belong and what is right or wrong. It takes a lot of strength to live in a home where you are being abused and it is even hard when you know that your parents love you and want what's best for you.

Finding a safe haven when you need one when you need it the most is something that takes strength and courage, but home is supposed to be that place where you can rest but this isn't always true. There will always be obstacles and people who don't want you to succeed and teach you the skills of life.
